Make every rep count.

  1. 01

Set an incline bench to ~30° (a flat bench propped up works too) and place the barbell at the lower end within easy reach.

  2. 02

Lie face down on the bench with your chest supported. Keep your feet on the floor for extra stability (or rest your legs along the bench if preferred).

  3. 03

Take a shoulder-width underhand (palms-up) grip and brace your core. Keep your neck neutral—look slightly forward, not down.

  4. 04

Start with arms extended. Pull the bar up toward your lower chest/upper abdomen, driving your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades together. Avoid bouncing or shrugging.

  5. 05

Pause briefly at the top, then lower under control until your arms are fully extended again.

  6. 06

Repeat for reps, keeping your torso glued to the bench and the movement smooth and controlled.
