Make every rep count.
- 01
Set the cable pulley to the highest position and clip on a V-bar. Stand facing the stack with feet about hip-width.
- 02
Grab the bar with a semi-pronated grip (palms slightly turned in). Step back a touch to create tension, then hinge forward slightly at the hips.
- 03
Pin your elbows to your sides and keep your shoulders down and chest up. Your forearms should start angled up toward the bar.
- 04
Press the bar down by extending your elbows, squeezing your triceps as you reach the bottom. Stop just before fully locking out to keep tension on the muscle.
- 05
Control the return: let the bar rise slowly until you feel a stretch in the triceps, without letting your elbows drift forward.
- 06
Repeat for your reps, keeping your torso still—no swinging or using momentum.
