Make every rep count.

  1. 01

Load a barbell and stand tall with feet about shoulder-width apart.

  2. 02

Take an overhand grip slightly wider than shoulder width.

  3. 03

Brace your core, bend your knees, and lift the bar with a flat back and chest up.

  4. 04

Pull the bar straight up along your torso, keeping it close to your body. Lead with your elbows up and out and stop around upper-chest height (don’t force it higher if your shoulders feel pinched).

  5. 05

Pause briefly at the top, then lower under control back to the start.

  6. 06

Repeat for the target reps, keeping your posture tall and your shoulders down and back throughout.
