Make every rep count.
- 01
Stand tall with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides with a neutral grip (palms facing in).
- 02
Brace your core, keep your shoulders down and back, and maintain a slight bend in your elbows.
- 03
Lift one arm out to the side until the dumbbell reaches about shoulder height (lead with the elbow, don’t shrug). Pause briefly.
- 04
Lower under control back to your side.
- 05
Repeat immediately with the other arm—left + right = 1 rep.
- 06
Continue for your target reps, keeping the motion smooth and avoiding swinging or leaning.
