Make every rep count.

  1. 01

Load an appropriate weight on the barbell and stand tall with feet about shoulder-width apart.

  2. 02

Hold the bar at shoulder-width with an overhand (pronated) grip, arms straight down in front of your thighs.

  3. 03

Take a breath in, brace your core, and keep your shoulders down and back.

  4. 04

Raise the bar straight up in front of you until your hands reach shoulder height (arms roughly parallel to the floor). Keep your elbows soft but nearly locked, and avoid swinging or leaning back.

  5. 05

Pause briefly, then lower slowly and under control to the start.

  6. 06

Repeat for your target reps, keeping the movement smooth and controlled throughout.
