Make every rep count.
- 01
Attach a single-handle to a low pulley and choose a load you can control.
- 02
Stand facing away from the machine. Grab the handle with an overhand grip (palm down) and step forward until there’s light tension.
- 03
Start tall with a slight bend in the elbow, arm by your side and the handle just in front of your thigh—weight lifted off the stack.
- 04
Movement
- 05
Keeping your torso still (no leaning or swinging), lift the handle forward until your hand reaches about shoulder height.
- 06
Pause briefly, then lower slowly back to the start under control.
- 07
Form & safety cues
- 08
Keep ribs down and core braced—let the shoulder do the work, not momentum.
- 09
Don’t let the weight stack slam or the handle bump your body.
- 10
Complete your reps, then switch arms.
