Make every rep count.
- 01
Sit tall on the edge of a bench with your feet flat and core braced. Hold dumbbells at your sides with palms facing your thighs.
- 02
Inhale, keep your shoulders down and back, and lift the weights straight in front of you. Maintain a soft bend in the elbows—don’t swing or use momentum.
- 03
Raise until your hands reach about shoulder height (arms parallel to the floor).
- 04
Lower slowly under control back to your sides, keeping your torso still.
- 05
Repeat for the prescribed reps.
