Make every rep count.
- 01
Hold a weight plate at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions with your palms facing each other.
- 02
Stand tall with chest up, shoulders pulled back and down, and core braced. Hold the plate a few inches in front of your thighs—this is your start.
- 03
With a soft bend in the elbows (keep it the same throughout), raise the plate forward in a smooth, controlled motion until your arms are just above shoulder height (slightly above parallel).
- 04
Pause briefly at the top, then lower slowly back to the start—don’t let the plate swing or drop.
- 05
Repeat for your target reps. Keep your torso still and avoid leaning back; if you have to use momentum, reduce the weight.
