Make every rep count.
- 01
Set the wide handle on the lat pulldown and sit tall with your thighs locked under the pads.
- 02
Grab the bar about shoulder-width with an overhand (pronated) grip. Keep your chest up and core braced.
- 03
Start the pull by pulling your shoulder blades down and back (don’t shrug), then drive your elbows down as you pull the handle toward your upper chest.
- 04
Pull until your elbows line up with your torso—avoid leaning way back or turning it into a row.
- 05
Pause briefly, then slowly return to the top with control, letting your lats stretch while keeping tension.
- 06
Repeat for your reps, keeping the movement smooth and controlled throughout.
