Make every rep count.

  1. 01

Secure the resistance band over the pull-up bar and place one foot in the loop (keep the band centered and your foot stable).

  2. 02

Grab the bar with an overhand (pronated) grip, hands slightly wider than shoulder-width. Start from a dead hang with your body in a straight line.

  3. 03

Take a deep breath in, squeeze your glutes and brace your abs to prevent swinging.

  4. 04

Set your shoulders first: pull your shoulder blades down and back (don’t shrug).

  5. 05

Initiate the pull by driving your elbows straight down toward the floor and squeezing your lats. Keep your chest proud and ribs controlled.

  6. 06

Pull until your chin reaches the bar (or as high as you can with good form), then pause briefly.

  7. 07

Lower under control to a full hang without losing tension or letting your shoulders collapse, and repeat for the prescribed reps.
