Make every rep count.
- 01
Attach the wide-grip handle to the lat pulldown and sit down with your thighs secured under the pads.
- 02
Grab the bar underhand (palms facing you) with your hands just inside shoulder-width. Sit tall, chest up, and keep a neutral spine.
- 03
Start the rep by pulling your shoulders down and back (avoid shrugging), then drive your elbows down toward your ribs.
- 04
Pull until your elbows line up with your torso and the handle is close to your upper chest—don’t lean way back or swing.
- 05
Pause briefly, then slowly extend your arms to return to the top while keeping your shoulders packed and tension on your lats.
- 06
Repeat for your target reps with smooth, controlled tempo.
