Make every rep count.
- 01
Grab the pull-up bar with an overhand (pronated) grip, hands wider than shoulder-width. Hang tall with arms straight.
- 02
Take a deep breath, squeeze your glutes and brace your abs to keep your body rigid.
- 03
Start the rep by pulling your shoulder blades down (avoid shrugging), then drive your elbows straight down toward the floor as you engage your lats.
- 04
Pull until your chin reaches the bar and you feel a strong lat contraction.
- 05
Lower under control all the way back to a full hang, keeping your shoulders packed, then repeat for the prescribed reps.
